Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native who was born in sub-standard conditions on the 16th of September, 1958. Her mother, a failed teacher and actor, was a salesperson for automobiles while her father was an auto salesman. Jennifer is the third of her family's four children often accompanied her mother to her theater performances and was very impressed with her. Jennifer's divorce was finalized when she turned five. Jennifer spent most of her early years in British Columbia after her mom relocated there with the other four children. Jennifer, although she had always been an extremely talented child however, she was not the most studious individual. Due to her experiences in Canada's public schools, Jennifer became the object of much bullying. Theater was her first passion, but it began to wane throughout her time in high school in the end, and consequently she was a regular participant in shows as an extra with help from her mother.
